Bill Starling, age 63, of Wooster, fell asleep in death on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Life Care Hospice in Wooster following a short illness.

He was born on September 19, 1953 in Wadsworth, Oh. to Benjamin Franklin and Lois (Lindeman) Starling and has been a lifetime resident of the area.

He married Cindy Mowery on June 19, 1976 in Canaan Twp. She survives.

He had worked for the Medina Supply Co. as a truck driver for many years and was an avid hunter. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his family and was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.

In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by his sons, William L. (Anne) Starling of Wooster, Norman Starling of Overton, and Jessie (Paula) Starling of Bowling Green, Ky.; 8 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Ben Starling of Wooster and Joe (Michelle) Starling of Burbank; and his best friend, Chris (Blanche) Crebs of West Salem, Oh..

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Memorial services will be Saturday, 5:30 p.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home with Carrey Ball officiating.

A private interment has taken place at the convenience of the family.

Visitation will be (2 1/2 hrs.) prior to services from 3:00 p.m.- 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
