Condolences

Condolence From: Marilyn Pittman
Condolence: Bill was a good friend, with a sharp wit, we first met when he was at Smithville Western Care Center. Larry was also a patient there at the Willows Wing. They became good buddies, getting up in the night for a cup of coffee or hot chocolate. They also shared a table in the dining room, sometimes with much laughter that I observed when visiting at lunch time. Later, at Doylestown Health Care Center, most recently, he and Larry shared a room. The last day he was there I was told Larry tried too help take care of him. I asked Larry if he took care of Bill. His answer was, "Sure, he was my friend". I know that would be the answer many would give, "He was my friend". It is good to know he is in a better place now. With prayers and sympathy for Bill's friends and family. The Western Reserve Veteran's Cemetery is a beautiful place for his final resting place on this earth. Marilyn and Larry Pittman

Condolence: He was so kind to so many. When you needed to laugh or a shoulder to lean on. We all looked forward to seeing him when we were finishing up our shifts. He had a beautiful heart and a very special man.

Condolence: We have known Bill for many years. We enjoyed going to Skyview Ranch in Millersburg, OH to Family Camp for a few years. He had such a wonderful wit about him and always made us laugh. We would visit him when he was in Smithville Western Nursing Home in Smithville, OH. Our daughters loved him and they too, have special memories of him. He is gone from our presence, but never forgotten. We were in church with him for several years at Pleasant Hill Bapt. in Sterling, OH. Praying that you will have peace at this time and know that he was loved by us and many more. Jerry and Carol Osborn
