Obituary for Margaret J. Studer

Margaret J. Studer, age 83, of Apple Creek, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at her daughters residence in Apple Creek following a period of declining health. She was surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on January 25, 1933 in Canton, Oh. to Royal R. and Laura (Baker) Carnes and has been an area resident for most of her life.

She retired from the J.M. Smucker Co. in Orrville after many years of service.
She was a member of Mt. Zion Church of God in Wooster; was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles; volunteered at the Wayne County Care Center for many years.

She is survived by her son, John R. (Judy) Studer of Rittman, Oh.; 2 daughters, Laura M. Austin of Millersburg and Jeanne (Phil) Acker of Apple Creek; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; a brother, Robert (Pat) Carnes of Canton and a sister, Ruth Tubbs of Navarre; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Virgil, Isabelle, Florence, Kenneth, William, Esther, Mary, Arthur, Janet, Alfred and Gerald and a son-in-law, Truman Austin.

Services will be Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Church of God with Pastor Tom Geissinger officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior (10:00 - 11:00 a.m.) at the church.
A private interment will take place at the convenience of the family at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to: Life Care Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, Oh. 44691.

Margaret loved the Lord with all her heart and wanted to share the word with anyone she met.
