Obituary for Robert M. Haven

Robert M. Haven, age 83, of Wooster, passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, September 23, 2016 following a short illness. His family was by his side.

He was born on October 30, 1932 in Wooster to Robert and Lennie (Butler) Haven and has been a life long resident of the area.

He married Mary Ann Keim on October 30, 1953. She survives.

He had been self employed for many years and enjoyed taking care of his farm; raising horses and for many years enjoyed showing his contest horse, "Beaver". He mostly loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his siblings, Georgia Gentry and Katherine Lucci both of Wooster, Druscilla (Ray) Howell of Brooksville, Fl.; special nieces and nephews and great- nieces and nephews, Richard and Alicia Wallace along with their children, Zachary and Morgan Wallace, Spenser and Courtney Wallace, Charlsey and Ben Callender, Tammy and Bill Pumphrey along with their children, Celia and Cory O'Hearn and Seth Pumphrey, Amy Wallace and her children, Alex, Anthony and Andrew Silvis; sisters-in-law, Shirley Haven of Zephyr Hills, Fl. and Tina Jones of Wooster; in-laws, Jake Keim of Fredericksburg, Edna and Delmar Haun, Sue and Jeff Linder all of Orrville, Betty Fishburn, Linda and Bill Wallace all of Wooster, Ella Weimer of Mount Vernon, Ada Gerber of Sugarcreek, Jonas and Lena Keim of Stockbridge, Ga.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Richard Haven, David Haven, Virgie Rouch and Janice Cornett.

Funeral services will be Monday, 11:00 a.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, 2284 Benden Dr., in Wooster. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Wooster.
Visitation will be one hour prior (10:00 - 11:00 a.m.) to services on Monday.
