Obituary for Denis Nason
Denis J. Nason, age 74, of Shreve, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, September 4, 2016 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, following a period of declining health.
He was born on April 27, 1942 in Milwaukee, Wisc. to Robert L. and Lillian (Domeras) Nason.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict and married Mary L. Huffman in California in 1963. She survives. They have resided in the Shreve area for the last 44 years.
He had worked at the College Of Wooster for 30 years and was a member of Millbrook Community Church in Millbrook.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Michael D. (Tina) Nason of Shreve; 2 grandchildren, Jasmine and Tiffany Nason of Shreve; a brother, Donald (Carol) Nason of Oshkosh, WI.; a sister, Lois (John) Getman of Turner, OR.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday, 1:30 p.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, in Wooster with Pastor Tom McFadden officiating. Interment will be at Wooster Cemetery where military rites will also be conducted.
Visitation will be one hour (12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.) prior to services at the funeral home.
