Obituary for Charlotte F. Hartman

Charlotte F. Hartman, age 96, of Wooster, entered into rest on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Life Care Hospice in Wooster where she was surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on October 28, 1919 in Oak Park, GA. to Charles and Alice (McCullough) Hartsfield.
She married Carl Hartman on June 6, 1941 in Wooster. He entered into rest on October 24, 1990.
During WWII she worked as a "Rosie the Riveter" and then worked at Wooster Community Hospital as a nurses aide before retiring after many years of service.
She was a member of the Wooster United Methodist Church; enjoyed bird watching, loved to grow roses; enjoyed traveling where she also had the opportunity to go to Disney World over 21 times. She also enjoyed word search and cross word puzzles. She was a very energetic person who mostly loved spending time with her family and especially going to see her great-grandchildren play in their sporting events.
She is survived by a son, Steve (Molly) Hartman of Orrville; a daughter, Ann Rollins of Wooster; 4 grandchildren, Becky (Jeremy) Grimm of Orrville, Chris (Beth) Rollins of Avon Lake, Oh., Zach Hartman of Cincinnati, Oh. and Katie (Tom) Heil of Brunswick, Oh.; 5 great grandchildren, Caylin, Sadie, Charlotte, Hannah and Camden; a sister, Mary Swann of Nashville, TN.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a brother, John William "J.W." Hartsfield.
It was her wishes there be no public visitation. Private services will take place at Wooster Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
