Obituary for Karoll "Bud" Gayer
Karoll "Bud" Gayer, age 75, of Wooster, entered into rest, Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Seville Meadows Nursing Center in Seville following a period of declining health.
He was born on March 16, 1941 in Wooster to Robert H. and Evelyn L. (Getty) Gayer and has been a Wayne County resident for all of his life.
He had worked as a mechanic and in the construction trade for most of his life.
He belonged to the Wooster Eagles Club; enjoyed golfing, constructing model trains and previously involved with the building of Soap Box Derby cars; loved spending time at the Wooster Community Center and was a sports fan.
He is survived by a daughter, Patricia L. (Michael) Curtis of Wooster; a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter; a brother, Bob (Ellen) Gayer of Florence, Ky. and a sister, Patricia "Pat" Gayer of Dalton; 2 nieces, 2 nephews and an aunt, Audrey Turner of San Jose, CA.
His parents precedes him in death.
It was his wishes there be no services or visitation.
A private graveside service will take place at Wooster Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wooster Community Center, 241 S. Bever St., Wooster, Ohio 44691.
