Obituary for Richard P. Faught

Richard P. Faught, age 69, of Wooster, peacefully entered into rest, Wednesday morning, March 16, 2016 at his residence following a brief illness.
He was born on July 11, 1946 in Wooster to William P. and Theresa (Star) Faught and has been a Wooster resident for about 30 years. While growing up, he spent a lot of time at his grandparents farm near Blachleyville.
He was stationed in Korea, during the Vietnam era with the U.S. Army.
He had lived in various places including Columbus, Ohio while working in the mortgage and securities profession. He retired after many years of service.
He enjoyed photography, bowling,cooking and was a lifelong Republican.
He is survived by his sons, Jason P. (Kimberley) Faught of Medina and Ryan M. Faught of Canton; 4 grandchildren, Rebecca, Chloe, Jacob, and Rachael Faught; 3 sisters. Carol (Rod) Minkley of FL., Sharon (Don) King of Jacksonville, Fl. and Kathy Goodman of Wooster.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Karen Bolick.
Committal services will be Tuesday, 1:00 p.m. at Wooster Cemetery with Pastor Carson Hall officiating. Military rites with then be conducted. There will be no public visitation.
Custer-Glenn Funeral Home in Wooster is honored with serving the family.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the charity of the donors choice.
