Obituary for Soledad C. "Solly" Almelor
Soledad C. "Solly" Almelor, age 90, of San Jose Del Monte Bulecan Philippines, entered into rest Friday, January 2, 2015 in the Philippines.
She was born on October 27, 1924 in Nago City, Philippines. She married Domingo Almelor who died in 1990.
She had lived in Florida and in Wooster for a few years. She enjoyed gardening and especially working for the Lord in many capacities.
She is survived by her daughters; Belly (Jim) Phillips of Wooster, Fe (Martin) Williams of N.C., Rosemary (Tommy) Jones of Fl. and Myrna (Dyrell) Hackworth of IN.; a son, Jesus (Marrissa) Almelor of FL.; 21 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildern; 2 sisters, Aurora Byrd and Tina (Bill) Wilder all of MS.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by 2 sons, Samson and Romeo Almelor; 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Services will take place this weekend in the Philippines. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers for the ministry work in the Philippines ,C/O Belly Phillips, 966 Washington St., Wooster, Ohio 44691.
Custer-Glenn Funeral Home in Wooster is honored with serving the family.
There will be no local services.
