Ruth G. Ott, age 91, of Wooster, passed away Monday, September 15, 2014 at Glendora Health Care Center in Wooster where she had resided for several years.
She was born on August 11, 1923 in Akron, Ohio to Herbert C. and Emma Mae (Anderson) Bush.
She moved from West Virginia to Wayne County in 1939 and married Kenneth C. Ott in Orrville in 1946. He passed away previously.
She previously worked as a Cook for the former Apple Creek Developmental Center for 18 years before retiring in 1986. She enjoyed cooking and baking throughout her life.
She is survived by 2 sons, Allen C. Ott of Fredricksburg and Kenneth P. (Patricia) Ott of Wadsworth; 3 grandchildren, Regina Howell, Ryan and Joel Ott; 3 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Justin and Libby Howell.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a brother, Bill Bush.
Visitation will be Sunday 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, 2284 Benden Dr., Wooster. As per her wishes, there will not be no service.
