Ralph Thacker, age 56, of Shreve, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Thursday, April 10, 2014.
He was born on July 16, 1957 in Pikeville, Ky. to Robert and Geneva (Meadows) Thacker and moved from Shelbiana, Ky to Shreve in 2006.
He married Cindy L. (Adkins). She survives.
He previously worked as a Resident Care Taker for Shreve Manor in the Maintenance Dept. and was a member of Wooster Apostolic Pentecostal Church.
In addition to his father of Napoleon, Ohio and his wife, he is survived by his children, Jimmy Lee (Tiffany) Thacker of Daytona Beach, Fla., Daniel (Brandi) Thacker of Shreve, Oh. and Joey (Alyssa) Thacker of Wooster; 3 grandchildren, Landan, Ava Ivy and Isaiah; 5 brothers; 5 sisters.
He is preceded in death by his mother.
Services will be Sunday, 4:00 p.m. at Wooster Apostolic Pentecostal Church, 3030 Columbus Rd., Wooster with Pastor Gerald Compton and Pastor Ben Robinson officiating.
Visitation will be one hour (3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.) prior to services at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
Interment will take place next week in Shelbiana, Ky.
