Obituary for Patricia L. "Patty" Pickard

Patricia L. "Patty"Pickard, age 48 of Orrville Ohio, passed away Thursday night, January 30, 2014 at Aultman Orrville Hospital peacefully in her sleep.
There will be a private interment at the convenience of the family. It was her wishes for a private memorial to celebrate her life.
Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, 2284 Benden Dr., Wooster is honored with serving the family.

She was born in Owatonna, MN, to Rose Mary and Leo Miller.
She married Jeffrey C. Pickard on August 24, 1985. He survives.
Over the years, Patty lived in Rochester MN, Lima, Coshoction, and Orrville Ohio. She was deeply involved in breeding and showing exhibition quality poultry, and had been involved in the community for many years. Authored a book “Youth's Guide to the World
of Waterfowl “ and has written many articles for various poultry publications. For the past year, she had been working at Meyer's Hatchery. In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children, Brandon and Liz Pickard. Bree and Cameron Higgins, Becca, Caleb, and Nicole. She was also survivied by two grandchildren, Daniel and Layla Pickard .
