Obituary for Lois P. Yocom

Lois P. Yocom, age 86, of Wooster, passed away Thursday, August 19th, 2010 at Smithville-Western Care Center in Wooster.
Memorial services will be Sunday, 12:30 p.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, 2284 Benden Dr., Wooster with Pastor Kevin Phipps officiating. A private interment will take place at the convenience of the family.

Words of comfort may be shared with the family at: www.custerglenn.com. She was born on September 4, 1923 in Canton, Ohio to Vernon & Florence (Fisher) Stover.
She married John G. "Jack" Yocom in Homestead, Florida on August 31, 1943. He passed away in 1993.
She was a member of Central Christian Church in Wooster; enjoyed boating and especially spending time with her family.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Patricia Kidd of Creston, Ohio, Tina (Jim) Wensink of Findlay, Ohio and Carol (Carl) Baker of Wooster; grandchildren, Susan Barber, Shawnna Sizemore, Alicia Kuntz, John Wensink, Kara and Kelly Baker and Jared Yocom-Baker; and 9 great-grandchildren.; a brother-in-law, William Fitzpatrick.
In addition to her parents and loving husband, she is preceded in death by a sister, Olive Fitzpatrick.
