Obituary for Janet Lindeman Durtschi

Janet Lindeman Durtschi, age 64, of Wooster, died Monday, June 6, 2016 at Akron City Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born on February 18, 1952 in Canton, Ohio to Carl Melvin and Dorothy Mae (Bass) Lindeman.
She married Donald Durtschi, Sr. in Wadsworth on February 11, 1970. He survives.
She then moved from Doylestown to the Wayne County area where she had been a resident since 1980.
Janet was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
For the last 10 years, she had worked for and stayed at Clays Park in Canal Fulton working as a Secretarial Reservationist.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her children, Donald (Suzanne) Durtchi of Wooster and Lisa (Oscar) Moreno of Orrville; grandchildren, Amber Moreno (Kody Stine), Alex Moreno, Alisha Moreno (Dustin Stark), Samantha Durtschi (T.J. Osborne), Kendra (Brian) Edgell and Christian Durtschi.
Great-Grandchildren, Braylon & Jesalyn Stine, Dallas & Austin Moreno, Khilyon & Aliyah Slaughter, Rowen Osborne, Rylee & Khylon Edgell and and another great-grandchild which is expected in February, 2017.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Dean Lindeman and her father and mother in law, Lloyd & Martha Durtschi.
Services will be Friday, 1:00 p.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home in Wooster.
Visitation will be this evening (Thursday) at funeral home from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
A private burial will take place at the the convenience of the family at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman at a later date.
