Obituary for Gary A. Craft Sr.

Gary A. Craft, Sr., age 54, of Wooster, peacefully went home to be with the Lord, Monday, November 28, 2016 at his residence following a short illness. He was surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on January 2, 1962 in Tacoma, Washington to Floyd L. Sr. and Marie T. (Studer) Craft and has been a Wooster resident for most of his life.

He had been a self employed carpenter, mechanic and all around handyman throughout the area for many years. He was known as a "problem solver" and consultant by giving advise to those that asked.
He was a member of Mt. Zion Church of God in Wooster and the Sons of The American Legion. He enjoyed camping, the outdoors and was a Seattle Seahawks fan. He especially loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his mother, Marie T. (Ira) Campbell of Wooster, he is survived by his sons, Gary A. Jr. (Annette) Craft of Millersburg, Oh. and David (Kimberlie) Craft of Eureka, Fla.; grandchildren, Zachary, Malachi, Kaden, Harmonie and London Craft; sisters, Charlotte Rimel and Cheryl (Cecil) Barthalow all of Wooster; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a brother, Floyd "Butch" Craft, Jr. and 2 nephews, Tad & Jimmy Hickman and the mother of his children, Peggy Craft.

Memorial services will be on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Church of God in Wooster with Pastor Tom Geissinger officiating. A time of fellowship and food will follow at the church.
A private interment will take place at the convenience of the family.

Custer-Glenn Funeral Home in Wooster is honored with serving the family.
