Obituary for Robert Eugene "Bob" Huebner
Robert Eugene "Bob" Huebner, age 73, of Wooster, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Life Care Hospice in Wooster. He was surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Wooster on February 23, 1942 to Alvin and Jean (Green) Huebner and was a life long resident of the area.
He married Nancy M. Garver on June 2, 1962 in Wooster. She survives.
He had worked for Maintenance, Inc. of Wooster for 54 years. He was a member of Wooster Church Of The Nazarene where he had served for many years as a greeter and usher; he enjoyed golfing and especially spending time with his family and friends. He had a genuine love for people.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Robert Scott "Rob" (Heather) Huebner of Orrville and Lisa Ann (David) Hohider of New Pittsburg,; 9 grandchildren, Jordan (Clayton) Hieronymus of Bath, Michaela (Nate) Luck of Akron; Carissa Hohider of Akron; Abigail Hohider of Wooster, Brooke Huebner of Kent, OH., Emily Huebner, Kayla Huebner, Siera Huebner and Jared Huebner all of Orrville, OH.; a great grandaughter, Joanna Luck of Akron; a sister, Linda Hendrix of Wooster; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Daniel Hendrix.
A Service of Celebration of his life will be Monday, 11:00 a.m. at Wooster Church Of The Nazarene with Pastor Nathan Ward officiating followed by interment at New Pittsburg Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday from 4 - 6 p.m. at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to either: Healing Rooms Of Wooster, 2148-H, Eagle Pass, Wooster, Ohio 44691 or Life Care Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, Ohio 44691.
