To Dan's Family, I am so sorry to hear about Dan's passing. I had the privilege of knowing Dan in college and we were especially good friends our freshmen year living in Maglott Hall. Dan would stay up late to edit all my English papers for me the first quarter of college. I was so grateful for his help! He also taught me to drink some v8 whenever I start to feel sick, and to this day I still do that, and it still works. Please know that your son's influence extends far further than you can ever know, and his life, while shorter than we wanted, will be remembered for the great impact it had while he was with us.
