Obituary for Mildred E. "Millie" Edgell (Reno)
Mildred E. "Millie" Edgell, age 66, of Shreve, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Life Care Hospice in Wooster. She was surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on August 20, 1951 in Wooster to Edwin and Margaret (Schlegel) Reno and has been a Wayne County resident for most of her life.
She previously worked as an area Avon Representative and for many years, owned and operated her own cleaning service.
She married Robert B. Edgell of 38 years. He survives.
Millie was a member of Mt. Zion Church of God in Wooster; enjoyed crafts, tending to her "Farmville" game and mostly loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her children, Roberta (Mike) Fortune of Wooster, Robert C. Snyder, III of Shreve, James (Tonya) Snyder of Wooster and Robbie ( ) Edgell of Spencer, W.Va.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a nephew, Mike Butler and a niece, Catherine (Paul) Hauter all of Wooster; numerous great nieces and nephews; her canine companions, "Buttons" and Angel" and her feline companion, "Tommy Mr. Kitty".
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ellen Reno.
Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, 2284 Benden Dr., Wooster.
It was her wishes there be a private interment which will take place at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to: Life Care Hospice 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH. 44691.
