Condolences

Condolence From: George Bixler
Condolence: I have very warm memories of Aunt Margaret. I remember (and was impressed with) how supportive she was of her family's interest in music, especially Fred and Jerry. We had such a nice conversation when I picked her up to take her to visit my mom Martha (her sister) when Mom was in her last hours. She expressed her love for Mom in such a caring and sincere way. I regret that I am unable to attend her services, but please know that you have my most sincere condolences and prayers. Though we are sad at her passing, we can take heart that she is now enjoying the company of her beloved siblings. May God's presence give you comfort in the days to come. George Bixler, son of Martha Haueter Bixler

Condolence: My memories of aunt Margaret will always involve her love for John and her family. She was always so happy to share photos and stories about each one. She was a beauty, both inside and out and touched so many lives, including mine. I’m sorry that we are out of town and will miss her service, but we hope to see John soon. Please accept our deepest sympathy. With love, Kathy and Larry Mast

Condolence: I will always remember Mrs. Albright for her kind and gentle manner. And also for her patience in turning the Albright living room into a rehearsal room for The Strays and The Myce. Lots of good memories. You have my deepest sympathy.

Condolence From: Phyllis Bixler
Condolence: I have only very happy memories of Aunt Margaret. When I was a child, she and Aunts Miriam and Edna were so attentive to their nieces and nephews. Living in other states during my adult life, I subsequently visited her only occasionally, typically with my mother, Martha, nine years her senior. During these visits, I was always impressed by the values stressed in the obituary, her passion for the welfare of others, her wide-ranging interests, her infectious smile. Also obvious was the love she and John had for each other. She is the last of my mother's siblings to go and I was very happy that she could visit my mother in her own final hours in Orrville, some years ago. To John and the rest of her family: I know that you have lost a bright light, but may you be consoled by the many happy memories you have of her. Phyllis Bixler, daughter of Martha Haueter Bixler
