Virginia L. ""Ginnie""  Arnold (Wickens)
Virginia L. "Ginnie" Arnold, age 89, of Wooster, passed away, Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Brenn-Field Nursing Center in Orrville following a period of declining health.

She was born on August 25, 1928 in Marietta, Ohio to Way and Helen S. (Ellison) Wickens.

She moved from Crooked Tree near Dexter City, Ohio to Wooster in 1951 and married Richard "Dick" Arnold on October 20, 1957 in Smithville. He passed away on October 5, 1987.

She had worked for the former Rubbermaid Co. in Wooster as a Packer and then with the company store before retiring after 40 years of service.

She was a member of Smithville United Methodist Church for over 50 years and following her retirement, loved to travel. She also enjoyed collecting stuffed pandas, Mickey Mouse and salt and pepper shakers. She loved working in her yard and latch hooking.

She is survived by her niece, Sue Shumaker and fiance, Larry Mills of Roanoke, IN. and a host of friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her sister, Charleen Smith.

Services will be Friday, 11:00 a.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home in Wooster with Rev. Carolyn Berry officiating followed by entombment at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Wooster.

Visitation will be Thursday at the funeral home from 5 - 7 p.m.
