Obituary for Meilee S. Coleman

Meilee S. Coleman, age 55, of Wooster, entered into rest, Monday, December 5, 2016 at Life Care Hospice in Wooster following a long fight and courageous battle with complications from a chronic illness.

She was born on October 2, 1961 in Orrville, Oh. to Austin L. and Patricia J. (Carpenter) Pease and has been an area resident for all of her life.

She married George Raymond Coleman, Jr. in Wooster in 2007. He survives.

She had attended Zion Lutheran Church in Wooster; liked coloring pictures and enjoyed taking her pets for walks. She was also a "people person" who enjoyed being around people and was the best wife and friend anyone could ask for.

In addition to her devoted husband, she is survived by her step-children, Bobby and Nathan Norris all of Orrville and Natasha Norris of Perrysville, Oh.; sisters, Melinda "Mindy" Miller and Sharon Beth (Sam) Rakich both of Wooster; a niece, Katie Miller for taking such good care of her; a great-niece, Lennon Eileen Rakich and a great-nephew, Austin James Miller.

In addition to he parents, she is preceded in death by her pets.

Visitation will be Friday from 6 - 8 p.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home in Wooster.
It was also her wishes there be a private interment which will take place at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the funeral home to help defray expenses.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Life Care Hospice where they went above and beyond their very caring, tender and outstanding care during her stay.
