Obituary for Richard A. "Dick" Fleming

Richard A. "Dick" Fleming, age 61, of Shreve, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 31, 2016 at his residence following a long illness. His family was by his side.
He was born on October 5, 1954 in Holmesville to Merle D. and Doris B. (Miller) Fleming and has been a life long resident of Wayne County.
He married Regina Mae Tyler on May 6, 1993 in Wooster. She survives.
He had worked as a Shop Tech for the Praxair Co. in Wooster; former member of Wooster Moose Club; was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed carpentry.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, John C. (Melinda) Odenkirk, 4th of Charleston, S.C., Christopher S. Fleming of Wooster and Jeffrey T. (Wendy) Odenkirk of Delta, Oh.; daughters, Meagan M. (Casey) Swingley of Seattle, WA. and Heather M. Chaser (fiance, Lucas Lough) of Jackson, Oh.; grandchildren, Daniel J. Collins, Justin T. Fleming, Alicen M. Odenkirk, Thomas Z. Odenkirk, Bryce A. Chaser and Jordan Lough; a brother, Bobby Fleming of Shreve, ; sisters, Wanda (Fred) Kendall and Ruth Ann Horn all of Apple Creek, Karen (Marion) Lewis of Shreve, and Kathy (Robert) Gallion of Big Prairie, Oh., his faithful canine companion, "Xander".
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Tish.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Wooster with Rev. Fr. Stephen Moran officiating.
There will be a luncheon for family and friends following the services in the church fellowship hall.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to: Life Care Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, Ohio 44691.
