Obituary for Clara Yoder

Clara Yoder, age 70, of Wooster, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Smithville - Western Care Center in Wooster following a brief illness.
She was born on February 13, 1945 in Millersburg and was the adopted daughter of Daniel J. and Ella B. (Miller) Miller.
She married Daniel D. Yoder in Canton on December 7, 1968. They resided in Dalton before moving to Wooster in 1970. He survives.
She had attended the Ohio School for the Deaf (OSD) in Columbus, OH. and had worked for the Wooster Sportswear for 15 years and then with the Collins Aikman Co. for 21 years.
She was a member of Wooster Church Of The Nazarene; the Mansfield Club of the Deaf as well as with the Ohio School for the Deaf Alumni Assoc. and the Ohio Association of the Deaf & Blind.
In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her twin sister, Mary White of Wooster; brothers, Ben D. Miller of Wooster, Jacob D. (Ada) Miller of Fredericksburg; sisters, Amanda Raber and Sarah (Henry) Burkholder all of Millersburg, Ella Hochstetler of Apple Creek; and a brother-in-law, Jonas Miller.
In addition to her adoptive parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Andrew and Alvin Miller; sisters, Susie Mast-Hershberger and Verna Miller; brothers-in-law, Ronald White, Dan Raber and John Hochstetler.
Services will be Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at Wooster Church Of The Nazarene with Pastor Nathan Ward officiating followed by entombment at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Wooster.
Visitation will be Monday at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, 2284 Benden Dr., Wooster from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services (10:00 - 11:00 a.m.) at the church on Tuesday.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to either: the Ohio School for The Deaf (OSD) Scholarship Fund, 500 Morse Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43214 or LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd. Wooster, Ohio 44691.
