Obituary for Carol L. Kruit

Carol L. Kruit, age 70, of Wooster, went home to walk with the Lord in glory, on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland. She was surrounded by her husband and "kids".
She was born on May 16, 1945 in Chicago, Ill. to Ernie and Elizabeth "Betty" (Montgomery) Ball.
While in Chicago, she worked as a bank Teller before moving to Wooster in 1986.
She married Jan L. Kruit on February 10, 1968 in Oak Forrest, Ill. He survives.
After moving to Orrville in 1986, she then moved to Wooster in 2005. She then worked as a Payroll Clerk for the Will-Burt Co.. She then worked in the gift shop at Freedlanders Dept. Store and was also an area consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics for many years.
She was a member of West Hill Baptist Church where she also played the organ and piano for many years.
She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Matthew (Kim) Kruit of Wooster and Melissa "Missy" (Matthew) Triplett of Wadsworth; grandchildren, Marcus and Blake Kruit and Janae "Nae Nae" Triplett; a sister, Alice (Wallace) Larson of Old Brooklyn, in Cleveland; her father and mother-in-law, John and Dorothy Kruit of Crown Point, IN.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Haley Nicole Kruit and a brother-in-law, Rick Kruit.
It was her wishes for cremation and a memorial service will be Friday, February 5, 2016, 11:00 a.m., at West Hill Baptist Church in Wooster with Pastors Dan Wingate and Eric Fairhurst officiating.
Visitation with be Thursday at the church from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to services (10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.) on Friday.
A private family interment will take place at a later date at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
