Obituary for James A. "Jim" Moser

James A. "Jim" Moser
Courageous in life and courageous in death, James A. "Jim" Moser, age 63, of Wooster, beloved husband, brother, and son, died Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland. Throughout his recent years of serious health conditions, he lived with a grateful and uncomplaining attitude.

Jim was born on January 13, 1954 in Wooster to E.A. "Lee" and Frances Z. (Zuercher) Moser and has been a life-long resident of the area.

He graduated from Central Christian High School in 1973 and attended Heston College and Goshen College. He grew up attending the Wooster Mennonite Church.

His whole career was in the used car business. He owned and operated "Jim Moser Auto Sales", in the Wooster area for many years.

His favorite past time was his daily lunch meetings at the Wooster Elks Club and also weekly breakfasts with friends at Dunkin Donuts.

He married Barbara A. Jacobs his loving and devoted wife. She survives.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister, Janice A. Moser of Chandler, AZ.; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Wooster Mennonite Church with Pastor Jacob Dodson officiating.

A visitation with luncheon for family and friends will then follow the services at the church.
