Loran K.  Harrah
Loran K. "Fuzzy" Harrah, age 76, of Orrville, passed away, Sunday, July 23, 2017 at his residence following a long illness where he was surrounded by his family.

He was born on July 31, 1940 in Clendenin, W. Va. to Rex and Thelma (Parker) Harrah. In 1968, he moved to Orrville where he has resided for most of his life.

He married Donna L. "Dolly" Hochstetler on August 17, 1968 in Rittman, OH. She passed away on April 4, 1998.

He worked as a bridge painter for International Union of Painters & Allied Trades of Cleveland for many years and also enjoyed racing.

He is survived by his son, Mike K. (Katrina) Harrah of Orrville; 3 grandchildren, Connor, Makenna and Emma Harrah; a brother, Edward (Dorcas) Harrah of Indiana and a sister, Linda (Herb) Hardman of Smithville and long time friends, Doris Shoup and Craig Flenner.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Ramsey and a brother, Roger Harrah.

Visitation will be Wednesday at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home in Wooster from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.


Services will be Thursday, 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Kirk Fairhurst officiating followed by entombment at Sherwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Wooster.

The family would like to invite everyone for a time of fellowship and comfort food to Schmid Hall in Orrville following the services.
