Obituary for Mary Lee Wall

Mary Lee Wall, age 88, of Wooster, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Wooster Community Hospital following a brief illness.

She was born on July 20, 1929 in Princeton, W.Va. to French H. and Mary J. (Riley) Shultz, Sr. and attended Mercer Elementary School in Princeton.

The family then moved to Mt. Vernon, Ohio in 1943 where she graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 1947. She then graduated from Mt. Vernon Business School in 1948.

Mary then worked in the office of the Mt. Vernon Bridge Co. and the office of the Knox New Hope Center in Mt. Vernon.

She married Donald R. Wall on February 27, 1953 by the Rev. Robert Maugans at the home of her parents in Mt. Vernon. He Survives.

She was a former member of the First Congregational United Church Of Christ in Mt. Vernon. They then moved to Wooster in 1986.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Linda (Robert) Platt; a granddaughter, Jennifer Platt.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Henrietta Winfrey, Florence Fisher and a brother, French Shultz, Jr.

It was her wishes there be no public visitation or services.

A private interment will take place at Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to either the American Heart Assoc. C/O Wooster Community Hospital, 1761 Beall Ave. Wooster, OH. 44691 or the charity of the donor's choice.
