Obituary for Ramon "Ray" M. Tresenrider

Ray Tresenrider, age 66, of Wooster, passed away, Monday, August 7, 2017 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster following a long and courageous battle with cancer. His family and friends were by his side.

Ray was born on November 3, 1950 in Grove City, Ohio to Ramon E. and Helen F. (Chichka) Tresenrider.
He married Heather M. Cameron in Thousand Oaks, CA. She survives.

He moved from California to Wooster in 1995 and in 2007 started working for Tricor Metals in Wooster as a Marketing Manager where he enjoyed his work.

He belonged to the Wooster Elks Lodge; enjoyed golfing. and his weekend ritual of meeting with friends. He loved spending time with his family and especially his grandson.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter, Emily M. Tresenrider and his son, Marc Cameron Tresenrider both of Wooster; a grandson, Desmond Johnson; a brother, Rick (Sue) Tresenrider of Grove City, Ohio and Amit Chakraverty who was like a son; a niece, Amy Koechlin of Grove City, Ohio and a nephew, Paul Tresenrider of Delaware, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Tom Tresenrider.

A memorial visitation to help celebrate his life for family and friends will be at Tricor Metals in Wooster, Saturday from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. and also on Saturday, August 19th at American Legion Pashall Post 164 in Grove City, Ohio from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m.

There will be a private interment at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff of Tricor Metals in Wooster with the love and support they have shown.
