Alta Reta Brown, age 79, of Smithville, went home to be with her Dad, Roy Farley, Mom, Rosa Belle (McVicker) Farley and grandson, Kevin Sprowls to enjoy heavens beautiful gardens, on Sunday, October 22, 2017 following a battle with cancer. She was at her daughters home in Wooster.

She was born on May 5, 1938 in Grafton, W.Va..

Alta was a homemaker and loved reading books, cooking, crafting, traveling and loved the outdoors.

She leaves behind four brothers, Austin Farley, Therman (Yvonne) Farley, Gary (Dee) Farley. Earl (Kathy) Farley; a sister, Ann (Carl) Krahenbul-Farley; six daughters, Sheila, Robin, Peggy, Susie, Lisa and Robbie; three sons, Bill, Jo and Michael; nineteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren with another bundle of joy on the way.

It was her previous wishes, there be no public services.

A private memorial celebration sharing beautiful memories of her life will follow at a later date at the convenience of the family.
