Carolyn O. McComas, age 71, of Wooster, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Life Care Hospice in Wooster where she was surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on February 27, 1946 in Martin, W.Va. to Fred and Mamie (Conley) Boggs and has been a resident of Wooster for most of her life.

She married Larry W. "Scooter" McComas in 1964 in Wooster. He passed away in April 2001.

She had worked as a Machinist for the Will-Burt Co. in Orrville for 27 years before retiring in 2000.

She belonged to the Sons of Herman in Massillon and enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends at Prairie Lane Lake Park in Wooster for many years.

Carolyn is survived by her sons, Scott McComas and Jerry A. McComas both of Wooster; grandchildren, Mandy and Corey McComas; sisters, Willadean Lushbaugh of Waynesboro, Va. and Hope Wolfe of Akron, Oh.; her faithful canine companion, "Squirt".

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her son, Mark James McComas; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Services will be Tuesday, 1:00 p.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home in Wooster with Rev. Tricia Petraven officiating followed by interment at Wooster Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home on Monday from 6 - 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services (12:00 - 1:00 p.m.) on Tuesday.
