February 19, 1928 - October 30, 2017

Rosella "Rosy" Jane McMillen, age 89, of Wooster, passed away on Monday, Oct. 30th at Wayne County Care Center after a period of declining health.

She was born in Fredericktown, Ohio, to Walter and Helen (Fawcett) Mossholder.

Rosie was a graduate of Fredericktown High School, and enjoyed a career with Knox County National Bank in Mt. Vernon and Old Phoenix Bank in Medina.

She was a member of Northview Alliance Church in Wooster. She will be remembered lovingly as a gracious hostess, wonderful cook, and for her delicious butter cut-out cookies.



On July 28, 1949, she married Alfred McMillen, who predeceased her.

She is survived by two sons, Greg (Marilyn) McMillen of Shreve and Jon (Mary) McMillen of Wooster; three grandchildren, Alisa Cullen, Shannon Cason and Kelly McMillen; one great granddaughter; two step-grandchildren, Tina Miller and Brad (Melissa) McElroy; five great step grandchildren; and two great, great step grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by eldest son, Jeffrey.

It was her wish to have private services, which will take place at the convenience of the family.

The family wished to convey a special thank you to both Wayne County Care Center and LifeCare Hospice of Wooster for their loving care and support.

Gratitude is also extended to Custer-Glenn Funeral Home for assisting with arrangement.
