Obituary for Jo Ann Henley (Preston)

Jo Ann Henley, age 80, of Shreve, went home to be at rest with Jehovah on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at The Avenue of Wooster following a period of declining health.

She was born on March 25, 1938 in Follansbee, W. Va. to John and Ann Preston.

She married Jack D. Henley on December 23, 1970 in Rock Creek, W. Va. He survives.

They moved to Wooster from Ashtabula County and have been area residents for over 35 years.

She worked for Smithville-Western Care Center in Wooster as a Nurses Aide before retiring after many years of service.

She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Wooster for 40 years and was a devoted homemaker who loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Joe Henley of Orrville, John (Lisa) Henley of Wooster, and Jim (Teri) Henley of Shreve; grandchildren, Joey, Blake, Shelby, Brooke, Zachary, Mallorie, Brianna, Kyle and Trevor; a sister, Kathy (John) Neate of Annapolis, MD.; 4 nieces, Laura, Gwen, Carolyn and Sandy.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Jean (Jim) Wiseman.

It was her wishes for a private interment which will take place at the convenience of the family.
