Obituary for Thomas C. "Red" Lucas

Thomas C. "Red" Lucas, age 60, of Wooster, entered into rest, Saturday, December 29th, 2018 at Cleveland Clinic - Fairview Hospital in Cleveland.

He was born on October 21, 1958 in Athens, Ohio to Rev. Richard and Dolores (Pollard) Lucas. Thomas moved from California to Wooster where he has resided since 1980.

He married Nancy M. Stark on July 27, 1991 in Wooster. She survives.

Thomas worked as a C&C Machine Operator and Programmer for Chick Master Incubator Co. in Medina for 19 years; a proud member of the Strays MC N.E. Ohio and former member of Pak Rats MC and always enjoyed riding his Harley but mostly loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Taresa (Rob) Peters of Orrville, Doug (Angela) Vaughn and Charles (Jennie) Abernathy all of Wooster; grandchildren, Nicholas, Kassandra (and fiance, Brad), Dylan, Cody, Aleesha, Madyson and Gwen; siblings, Rev. Richard (Jean) Lucas of Japan, Juanita (Rev. David) Lebo of Mansfield, Oh. and Betty Parish of Marysville, Oh.; many nieces, nephews, close family and a host of friends.

His parents precedes him in death.

Services will be Saturday, 1:00 p.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, 2284 Benden Dr., in Wooster with John Herman officiating followed by interment at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.

Visitation will be 2 hours prior (11:00 - 1:00 p.m) to services on Saturday.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
