At its founding, the company offered both funeral services to accommodate each family’s needs and also provided ambulatory services for the Wooster and surrounding communities.
In 1990, Samuel A. Glenn joined the company as a licensed funeral director and licensed embalmer as well as a licensed EMT to assist with serving the needs of the community.
When Mr. Custer retired, the ambulatory portion of the business was sold to Samaritan Care Ambulance Services in Orrville and Samuel became manager of the establishment until 2007, at which time he and his wife, Christine, became sole owners of Custer-Glenn Funeral Home.
Because our funeral home is based and known for serving families, in 2007, we added Wayne County's only pet cremation services division to our funeral home called, Unforgettable Tales Pet Cremation and Memorial Services.
It is located in our separate building right behind our funeral home.
While years can bring changes, Custer-Glenn Funeral Home continues to provide the quality of service in which the company was originally founded on.
