Obituary for Margaret D. Blythe

Margaret D. Blythe, age 81, of New Philadelphia, entered into rest Friday, February 17, 2017 at Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia following a period of declining health.

She was born on June 9, 1935 in Donora, Pa. to Philip Lee and Margaret (Wilson) Fine.
She had previously lived in the Holmesville area before moving to Wooster in 1986 and had been a resident at Hennis Care Center in Dover for the last few years.

She had been a long time member of the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in both Wooster and in New Philadelphia, Oh.; was an avid reader; enjoyed games and loved playing bingo. She had a unique sense of humor and enjoyed telling jokes. She loved being around children and especially adored spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She is survived by her daughter, Melinda Sue (Keith) Lenkner of Grove City, Pa.; 6 grandchildren, Jessica and James McConnell, Chloe, William, Emma and Brandon Lenkner; a great-grandson, Malcolm Rasheed and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Robert H., Philip Lee and Vernon W. Fine and a sister, Phyllis Bertoncello.

Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 - 12:00 p.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home in Wooster with graveside services to follow at 1:00 p.m.at Wooster Cemetery.

Memorial services will then follow Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter - Day Saints in New Philadelphia.
