Obituary for Roger A. Berg

Roger A. Berg, age 57, of Orrville, went home to be with the Lord, on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Life Care Hospice in Wooster following a brief courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
He was born on October 26, 1958 in Orrville, Ohio to Curtis M. and Marjorie (Fleming) Berg.
While in San Francisco, CA., he worked for few years as a Caddie and moved to Orrville where he spent most of his adult life.
He married Janet L. (Wolverton) in Orrville on January 22, 2016. She survives.
He also held a few manufacturing jobs later in life.
Roger was involved with the Boy Scouts of America for numerous years; enjoyed playing the guitar and gardening; loved to fish, but mostly enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his loving wife, and his mother of Wooster, he is survived by his son, Craig Berg of TX; step-daughters, Omega (Jason) Gossett of Freeport, Oh., Stephanie (Joshua) Millican and Jennifer Tolloy all of Canton, Oh.; Cousin, Pat (Greg) Kendle; an aunt, Mildred Fetter-Baker and Jo Berg-Hudson; special friends, Jim Blankenship, Paul Claren and Kevin Ross; numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins; and his faithful canine companion, "Ryley" who was always by his side.
His father has preceded him in death.
The family would like to pay a special thanks to the staff of Life Care Hospice in Wooster for their unforgiving love and support which was needed at this time.
Memorial services will be today, Saturday, 10:00 a.m. at Life Care Hospice Chapel, 1900 Akron Rd. in Wooster with Pastor Joshua Steiner officiating.
