Condolence: Although we never met in person, I very much enjoyed my time "talking" to Doc, mainly about our shared love of music and music history, especially local. There is no one who ever loved his home town and, in particular, the artists that made it a community. more than Doc. I came to know him through FB in the kindness he shared with myself and our family in the passing of my beloved brother Michael Johnson. Though I never met Doc personally, we became friends and I know that he loved my brother and he became special to me. It was always wonderful to see him with his adorable grandsons. He cared so much about his family, friends and hometown. I was blessed to meet Doc and you all can be so proud of this great man. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: Carol and family, we were so sorry to see the loss of "Doc". I enjoyed talking with him about the upcoming 150th for Orrville and was really looking forward to him being a part of our panel on the 19th of January.
