Lena Theresa Dobson, age 93, of Wooster, entered into rest, Sunday morning, December 15, 2013 at Wayne County Care Center in Wooster where she had been a resident for the last 10 years.
Mass Of Christian Burial will be, 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 20, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Wooster with Rev. Fr. Stephen Moran as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Eastside Cemetery in Fredericksburg. Family and friends are invited back to the church for a time of fellowship and comfort food.
Visitation will be Thursday at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, 2284 Benden Dr. in Wooster from 6 - 8 p.m.

Mrs. Dobson was born on May 2, 1920 in Butler, Pennsylvania to Frank and Mary (Asalone) Madore.
In 1931, the family moved to Wickliffe, Oh. where she lived until her marriage to Everett Dobson on September 4, 1940, who died on January 21, 1971.
They then moved to West Bedford, Oh. and lived there until moving to Fredericksburg, Oh. in October of 1950.
Working at Fredericksburg Pottery was followed by waitressing at Keister's Restaurant. She then worked for Rubbermaid for 27 years before retiring in September, 1982.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Wooster following the closing of St. Genevieve Church in Calmoutier (Holmes County).
She enjoyed embroidery and crocheting, was a devoted homemaker (who was known for her spaghetti and meatballs for family and friends).
She is survived by her 2 sons, Ronald G. (Kathy) Dobson of Fredericksburg, Oh. and Larry J. (Maureen) Dobson of Ft. Wayne, IN.; 7 grandchildren, Ralph (Cynthia)Dobson and David (Mylyn) Dobson all of Los Angeles, CA., Lori Mullins of Fredericksburg, Chad Dobson of Florida, Zack (Courtney) Dobson of Carmel, IN., Eric (Carolina) Dobson of Boseman, Montana and Veronica Dobson of Ft. Wayne, IN; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Brenna, Olivia and Madelyn Mullins, Henry, Louisa and Nancy Frances Dobson; a sister, Angie Madore of Ft. Wayne, IN.; numerous cousins through marriage including, Florence Burkhardt of Wickliffe, Ohio, Wilbur (Becki) Wright of East Point, Georgia,Barbara Madore and Frank Mansi of Euclid, Ohio, Rosemary (Michael) Weikart of Willowick,Oh., Frank (Cathy) Madore of Willoughby Hills, Oh., Steve (Nancy) Murray of Coshocton, Oh., Sandra (Mike) Stoker of Brighton, Michigan, Vivian Murray of Columbus, Oh., Shirley (Dan) Clark, Gloria McDonald and Beverly West all of Coshocton, Oh.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a brother, Tony Madore and 2 sisters, Mary Bristo and Rose Wright, and a special brother-in-law, Pat Bristo.
