Dear Kay and family, We learned of Lowell's passing in the newspaper. We share your sorrow. Our prayers are with you. Let us pray: Gracious God, Thank You that You know everything that is going on. Nothing takes you by surprise. You know that our hearts are broken, and what it will take to fix them. You understand that nothing will ever be the same again. With time, help us to heal, and to create a "new normal." But, for right now, wrap Your strong, gentle arms around each one of us. Let us know that You are right here, sharing our grief. Let us lean on You. Guide us in the days, weeks... ahead. Show us the right way to go. Thank You that we can come directly to You for comfort and advice. You promised to be a Father to the fatherless, and a husband to the widow. You promised to be whatever we need You to be. Help us to ask, and to let You be those things for us. In Jesus' name, Amen.
