Obituary for Marylin Marie Jeffers

Marylin Marie Jeffers, age 82, of Apple Creek, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, January 31st, 2011 at her residence following a brief illness.
Services will be held on Saturday,2:00 p.m. ,February 5, 2011 at Evangel Assembly of God Church, 1633 Portage Rd., Wooster with Pastor Mark Ryder officiating followed by interment at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
Visitation will be one hour (1:00 - 2:00) prior to services at the church.

She was born on March 2, 1928 in Canton, Ohio, the daughter of John Champion and Nellie Marie (Barker) Stoler. She was united in marriage to Glenn "Jake" Tracey of Fredericksburg, Ohio on September 24, 1945.
Jake preceded her in death on April 20, 1963. She married Robert L. Jeffers on November 27, 1976. Bob preceded her in death on January 30, 2005. Marylin and Bob lived in Jeromesville from 1979 - 2003.
Marylin retired from Regal Ware of Wooster. While residing in Orrville, she had served as a nurses aide at Dunlap Memorial Hospital and with the former Doctors Osteopathic Hospital.
She was a member of Ashland Christian Center under spiritual guidance of Pastors Jake Schaad and Jim Brothers prior to moving back to Wooster. Later, she attended Pathway Church of God under Pastor Dan Gates. She served as President of Wooster's Aglow Ministry Chapter.
Marylin loved her family, camping and traveling. She had a big and generous heart and would not hesitate to help a stranger, friend or family member who needed assistance. Over the years she had developed a tremendous love for her Creator and His son, Jesus.
She is survived by her best friend and dear sister, Phyllis Musselman of Apple Creek, her loving daughter, Donna Tracey of Apple Creek. Step-daughter Vicky (John) Rice of Lodi. Step-daughter, Linda (Terry) Harmon of Apple Creek. Grandchildren, Gary Hilton of Colorado, Andrea Tracey of Apple Creek, Paula Tracey of Painsville, Paul R. Tracey of Wooster, and Joseph Tracey of Washington; Step-grandchildren, Trisha of Orrville, Hannah, Jena and John Rice of Lodi; nine great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all of her family and extended family.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she is preceded in death by her son, James Tracey, sisters, Marjorie, Katherine and Ethel; brothers, Howard, John, Royce, Elard, Jim and Harvey.
