Child Birth

Sonja and I both attended Triway High School at the same time.  I was a year ahead of her.  She married Butch and Butch worked with my husband at the time so we saw each other occasionally duirng our young life.  We found ourself giving birth together in 1973.  We were side by side in the ward at WCH.  We were going to name our sons the same name "chad".  She had her's first and his name became Chad.  I didn't like that we would have two Chads in the same room (doesn't seem so bad now 40 some years later) so I changed my son's name to Chet, who was born later that am on Sept 20.  The boys went to Waynedale together but I am not sure that they knew that they were nursery mates, or that Chet's name had something to do with him.  I didn't see Sonja for what seemed like years.  Butch died and I saw her then, and then not again until just recently.  I ran into her many times over the last 2 years.  She was as beautiful in her 60's as she was in her teens.  RIP friend, I will miss you.
