Obituary for Dorothy M. Franks

"TOGETHER AGAIN"

Dorothy M. Franks, age 93, of Wooster, entered into rest, Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at West View Healthy Living in Wooster.
She was born on April 9, 1921 in Fredericksburg, Ohio to George and Florence (Saunier) Heilman and has been a life long resident of Wayne County.
She married Elton L. "Fritz" Franks on September 8, 1942 in St. Louis, MO. He entered into rest on April 9, 1994.
She had worked as a Supervisor Of Housekeeping for West View Manor (West View Healthy Living) in Wooster before retiring after 12 1/2 years of service.
She was a member of Parkview Christian Church in Wooster and former member of Fredericksburg Christian Church. She belonged to West View Healthy Living Auxilliary; enjoyed camping, playing cards and fishing.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna (Jon) Mann of Wooster; granddaughters, Jennifer Hanna and Tracy (Josh) Case; great-grandsons, Matthew Hanna, Jon Hanna, Jack Case and A.J. Phillips.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Katie Mann- Phillips; a sister, Helena Phillips and an infant sister, Lola Heilman.
Services will be Saturday, 12:00 p.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home in Wooster.
Visitation will be 2 hours (10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) prior to services.
Interment will follow at Apple Creek Cemetery in Apple Creek.
