Dale's love of teaching

Lessons with Dale Moore were always a joy, and learning with him was such a pleasure. Listening to the wonderful singers from our studio during Master classes at IU, are still some of my favorite lifetime memories. I frequently remember him saying "if I won a million dollars, I'd teach 10 of my favorite students and all the rest could go to heck (edited - lol) " He loved teaching and celebrated his students successes. It was really an honour to have studied with him. I also appreciated his common sense,kindness and decency. I don't know if he ever stopped smoking, but that was a funny memory - Dale enjoying a smoke before lessons...
